The Mediterranean is, from the geopolitical point of view, one of the most delicate area of the whole planet. Its conflicts and tensions dramatically affect the events all over the world; at the same time its shores have been the cradle of the civilizations who have permanently marked the west culture.
During this meeting our aim is to address the subject of the Creative Mediterranean with a particular perspective: the one of those who live on the Adriatic side of this sea, often neglected as it was nothing more than an accessory area.
The Adriatic sea and the countries that overlook from its shores could have, instead, a decisive role in the development of the next years and they could be factors of quick change of the actual situation, as well as in the past they have been a clasp and a road for trading and communication.
The Adriatic region is still suffering of fragility and unsteadiness: the conflict and the implosion of the Yugoslavia have left behind deep furrow that destabilize the whole area.
The dialogue and development perspectives of this lands towards the Mediterranean could give new hopes and feed new sceneries.
With this meeting we also want to evaluate the opportunities that the creative Mediterranean could reserve, treasuring the union of the heritage of the past with the genius and the skills of its people.
The Mediterranean creativity could be an important vehicle for the financial development and at the same time an instrument of dialogue, meeting and cooperation.
The history of the Mediterranean is walking this way: mediator, communicator between the lands and the people who animates its shores, thanks to the cultures that developed themselves upon its shores.
